In the Feed me series I browse my followers feeds for inspiration - with permission - to then make an A6 sized illustration with ink on paper.

here are  illustrations 4 - 7 that sprouted from this.

Books!

I have no shame when I talk about books, I love  to read and I read a lot !
And to keep my head into that book-space for a while, I also draw what I read.
So here are - for you - the 4 stacks of this year.

Out of these last 4 months, I can highly recommend:

in Fiction
Gliff - Ali Smith
Wat wij zagen - Hanna Bervoets
Our hideous progeny - C.E McGill
Baksteen - Femke Vindevogel
The night alphabet - Joelle Taylor

in non - fiction
Slaap vatten - Bregje Hofsteede (I will never read another book about sleep again, this is it)
Femina - Janina Ramirez
The baby thief - Barbara Bisantz raymond

here are the first 3 illustrations that sprouted from this.

March sketchbook-pages.

- A rant over the -what should be illegal- way that Microsoft is treating their clients. It is no surprise that we are seen as mere wallets feeding their ever growing wealth.
I am glad to say that I am working with Ubuntu now, learning all about open source programs, like Gimp, Darktable and Scribius. Open source for the win! Down with monopolizing companies!

- A sketch of me fearing the pain that will come when getting my knee tattooed....

- Sketching my amazing nieces tumbling away on the tumblingmats at their Club championships.
