Blog

In the Feed me series I browse my followers feeds for inspiration - with permission - to then make an A6 sized illustration with ink on paper.

here are the first 3 illustrations that sprouted from this.

March sketchbook-pages.

- A rant over the -what should be illegal- way that Microsoft is treating their clients. It is no surprise that we are seen as mere wallets feeding their ever growing wealth.
I am glad to say that I am working with Ubuntu now, learning all about open source programs, like Gimp, Darktable and Scribius. Open source for the win! Down with monopolizing companies!

- A sketch of me fearing the pain that will come when getting my knee tattooed....

- Sketching my amazing nieces tumbling away on the tumblingmats at their Club championships.

Well, if you hurt people for a living, you should know what it feels like.

I had the privilige of getting tattooed by the wonderful Marlies, being a professional calligraphist (and bookbinder), she was the perfect artist for this piece. The fact that she is super sweet helped with the suffering !

"Moet just niks" ( 'I don't have to anything" in dialect) is a strong reminder to myself and my chaotic brain that 'No, I don't have to do, think, be, prove,...anything.

While waiting for paint to dry, I sit myself down and sketch.

Sometimes it turns into nothing, sometimes it turns into something.

Like now...I like this something.

pencil on paper, 21x15 cm
